ECM Flat Base Tamper

The bakelite handle has a nice, warm feel that doesn't slip even when my hands are a bit sweaty after grinding. The flat stainless base sits perfectly level on my portafilter, and it's become my go-to for a consistent, even tamp every morning.

I was surprised by how solid and balanced this tamper feels in hand—the stainless base sits perfectly level every time. It’s a noticeable upgrade from my old plastic tamper, and the smooth handle makes tamping effortless.

The bakelite handle gives just the right amount of grip without feeling sticky, and the flat base makes contact with the coffee bed evenly every time. I've noticed a real improvement in my espresso extraction consistency since switching to this tamper.
