Joe Frex Tamper Base Flat 49mm

I swapped out my old plastic tamper for this stainless steel base, and the light weight makes it much easier to get an even tamp. The flat surface sits perfectly level in my 49mm basket every time.

It fits my 49mm portafilter perfectly and the flat base creates an even, level tamp every time. The stainless steel feels solid and well-balanced, not too heavy or too light.

The stainless steel is noticeably lighter than my old brass base, which makes tamping feel much more balanced and controlled. It sits flush against my portafilter basket without any wobble, and the flat surface creates an even puck every time.
