The fair trade sourcing gives this coffee a clean conscience, and the whole beans grind up to a wonderfully balanced brew that's not too acidic. I've been using it for my morning French press, and the flavor holds up well even as it cools.

I was drawn to the fair trade sourcing, but the 2.2lb bag is a bit much for my small household—it took me a while to finish. The whole beans are decent, though I found the roast slightly uneven in a few batches. It’s a solid everyday option, just not exceptional for the price.

The whole bean blend from three regions gives it a decently complex flavor, but I found the roast a bit uneven for my taste. It’s nice knowing it’s fair trade, though the packaging could be sturdier for the 2.2lb bag.
